Pedaling for First Descents

Biking the 100mi White Rim Trail to raise money for everyone to enjoy the outdoors.

Hello Everyone!

Meg and I will be setting off on Thanksgiving eve to bike the famous 100mi White Rim Trail in Utah’s Canyonland National Park. Typically, this ride is done over roughly 4 days, but we will be attempting to bike the entirety of the loop in less than 36 hours. There is no water or amenities for the entire length of the trail, so we will need to carry all of our food, water and camping supplies with us on our bikes for the 2 days.

If you can consider donating, we are raising money for an amazing non-profit organization called First Descents here in Colorado. They strive to improve the lives of young adults impacted by cancer, as well as the healthcare workers and caregivers that support them, through outdoor adventures and experiential learning. Their trips include surfing in California, rock climbing in Texas and ice climbing here in Colorado.

All donations will be matched!!!

First Descents set out to raise $100k in 2021 and we are attempting to fundraise 2% of that goal through this bike ride. Thanks to everyone who has already donated in order to help us reach our goal of $2,000! All fundraising will also be matched following our ride, so please help us raise as much as possible for this amazing organization!
